Summer 2022

In order to protect my vulnerable patients during the global pandemic, I am offering limited in-person visits exclusively for families who are vaccinated and boosted, and who agree to mask during the session, as I will. Time is limited for in-person sessions, but please contact me to see whether I have availability. My online calendar reflects my availability for virtual sessions for the foreseeable future. For virtual clients, please know that I am working cooperatively with global healthcare providers to refine the technique of adequately providing clinical support without being in your home. Techniques continue to change. If you book a session it will be assumed to be virtual unless we talk about it in advance and agree to a home visit in person.

How It Works

Consults for breastfeeding/chestfeeding and lactation will occur online unless we agree otherwise, as specified above. Book a regular consult and you will fill out an intake form, and I will invite you to an online consult. In order to facilitate the session, ideally you will have an adult helper attend with you. I suggest that you tune in to the session with two devices — one muted. The primary connection will be a stationery source like a laptop or tablet that we can talk to each other on. The other device should be a handheld device like a phone, which your partner can use to let me get a close up on your baby at the breast. Don’t worry if this sounds complicated; I’ll coach you all through this, and it will allow me to see what is going on. If you don’t have multiple devices or an adult helper, we’ll sort it out.
