Nighttime parenting can be a challenge. Often new parents wonder about the ‘best’ practices that will allow everyone to feel rested and sane.

You may find it hard to find your own style if you are bombarded with 'expert' sleep advice. Maybe you’re getting conflicting advice. Maybe the advice you’re getting just seems not to work on your baby, or is impossible for you to follow consistently. Or maybe you just find it hard to think clearly in the middle of the night!

There is no one method that lets every family achieve a calm well-rested balance. When you’re feeling lost, we can try to develop habits and solutions that work best for your family’s individual needs.

Over the course of several individualized sessions, we can:

  • Acquire a realistic sense of how babies sleep
  • Assess your family’s needs and wants when it comes to sleep times, habits and locations
  • Work with the situation you have – your schedule, your baby, your needs – rather than a generic model of “everybaby’s” sleep habits
  • Develop a customized plan for your family around baby sleep issues
  • Help you figure out what to do with unsupportive comments; help you regain your sanity around sleep and parenting
