You’re taking care of the baby; who’s taking care of you?
New moms often feel that it is mildly funny to outright preposterous that they are now The Mom. After all, they’re taking on an entirely new role and doing it 24/7. During a course of several home visits during the first months postpartum, I’ll assist you with breastfeeding, newborn care and problem solving, and be with you as you get used to this wild new ride. Along the way, I’ll have my eye on you to make sure you’re eating, resting and not falling through the cracks – that you’re being mothered as you learn to mother your baby.
My goal is to help you find your sea legs. As you figure out who you are as a Mom, I will support your choices with tips, advice and mentoring, so that you gain confidence to move through the postpartum period.
